The definition of business:
The Works Contract to be supervised in this project comprises the following components:
Lot 1 – Construction of wastewater treatment plant – capacity: 144.000 m³/d (FIDIC Yellow Book)
-Complete engineering designs for the wastewater treatment plant
-Construction of the complete WWTP including supply and installation ofelectrical and mechanical equipment and all auxiliary facilities for theoperation of the plant
-Supply of tools and laboratory equipment-Training, operation and maintenance
Lot 2 – Construction and renewal of wastewater collectors (FIDIC Red Book)
-Renewal of Karaköprü collector and a new wastewater collector parallelto the existing wastewater main collector (ø 1400 mm reinforcedconcrete 12.179 km, ø 1600 mm reinforced concrete 0.16 km)
-Construction of Yenice-Tarımkent collector (ø 800 mm corrugatedHDPE, 2.630 km)
-Construction of Dağeteği collector (ø 1000 mm reinforced concrete 5.453km, ø 1200 mm reinforced concrete or PEHD 1.463 km)
Scope of Services
•Administrative, technical and financial capacity building for the Water UtilityDepartment of the Municipality,
•Modernization of the Water Utility Department and provision of thenecessary training and support for institutional sustainability,
•Technical assistance in performance of mapping, GIS, hydraulic modelling,leakage detection
•Contract management and construction supervision for the implementationof the water supply projects
•Preparation of detailed design and tender dossiers for the implementationof wastewater project,
•Contract management and construction supervision for the implementationof the wastewater projects,
•Review and update of supply tender documents and technical assistanceduring tendering and contracting
Our Role
•TA to Şanlıurfa municipality and the Project Implementation Unit(PIU):-Capacity building of the Water Utility Department of themunicipality (ŞUSKİ) -Modernization of the Water Utility Department (ŞUSKİ)services
•Supervision services for construction works according to FIDICConditions of Contract (Red and Yellow Book):
-Supervision for the construction of Şanlıurfa waste watertreatment plant
-Supervision for the construction of waste water collector linesto Şanlıurfa
•TA for the supply contract (equipment and software):
-Review and verification of the supply tender documents andthe market research, -Procurement assistance during the tendering and contractingstages of supply contract.
