KOLTEK is the consultant for the provision of construction supervision and post construction services for the “Supervision Works of Sirte-Binghazi Sector High Speed Railroad Project“with a lenght of 554 km based on double line design and high speed, to be operated for the purpose of transporting passengers and cargo. The civil engineering works includes earthworks, Roads, bridges and culverts construction of stations and extensions water supply and wastewater drainage, rail works, mechanical and electrical works, fencing, signalizing system, telecommunication system and environment control as per the specifications and drawings agreed upon, ensure the proper operation and functioning of all sector, planned to be completed by the end of year four from starting execution.
Due to political turmoil in Libya, the project had to be suspended in 2011.
